As far as I can tell, the Chinese did not bother to give it a name and it is referred to on forums as the Asian ETA Chronograph. The ETA/Valjoux caliber is one of the most recognizable and widely used automatic chronograph watch movement. It was based on the manual wind Valjoux caliber , which itself was based on the Venus Today, it is part of the “Mecaline” line of ETA movements.
